If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen that I finally got my hands on the DCL Multi Action Penta Peel Pads. I have wanted to try these out for a while so I was excited to try them for the first time on Wednesday evening. As I haven’t used them before I used quite gentle products before and after to make sure I didn’t cause any irritation. I don’t think you can tell how anything really works after one use but I was very impressed. You sweep the pad over your face and after 3-5 minutes you rinse with cool water, I splashed cold water on my face after 3 minutes and I could immediately feel my skin was so smooth and soft.
I have listed below the 4 products I used for my first Wednesday night facial. I have decided to use the DCL pads every Wednesday and Sunday evening and switch from my usual routine on these days only.
- Medik8 Pore Cleansing Gel
- Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
- DCL Multi Action Penta Peel Pads
- Eucerin Hyaluron Filler Night Cream
I used the Liz Earle this time because it is so gentle but I probably won’t use it from now on as I have mentioned in a previous post it is not my favourite cleanser for my skin type. I use the Eucerin Night Cream quite often as I once read a review that said it was a good budget alternative to Charlotte Tilburys Magic Cream and although I haven’t tried her night cream so I can’t compare I do really love the Eucerin cream and it is now very nearly on my Empties list.
I’ll keep this post short and sweet and review the DCL pads once I have used them for at least a month…
Thanks for reading.
