Miracle Morning

It is 6.30am here in the UK and I have been awake for one hour. I have meditated for 5 minutes using the Headspace app, I have done 8 minutes of Wake Up stretching again using Headspace (love that app) and I have read some newsletters on Substack. I have also drank one coffee with oat milk and vanilla syrup.

I started reading yesterday as part of an online book club called Shelf Help the very well known book by Hal Elrod, Miracle Morning. So when I say I started reading it yesterday I do mean started. I am still on the introductions and not even at chapter one yet so I can’t tell you much, but I do know the idea is you get up earlier than you need to and implement a routine into your morning so as to improve your life. I am up for that. I was literally up at 5.30 for it this morning. I do feel really good actually and I’m writing on this blog for the first time in I don’t even know how long so apparently it is miraculous!

I also read a blog recently about how this persons favourite blog posts to read are a glimpse into other people’s lives and I thought ‘same’ so then it made me think about my blog. I love writing but I always feel like I have nothing of any interest to write about. But reading her post made me realise that actually just writing what I think is boring about my day to day life is probably interesting for some others to read. We are all abit nosey anyway aren’t we? Or just me?

So I guess this post is to say I might try writing again on here in 2025. I don’t have new year resolutions really but I like the idea of a new year being a fresh start and new beginnings, so I am going to try and bore you with my thoughts and what I get up to every day no matter how insignificant it may seem to me. I follow another blog on here and she just celebrated her 10 years of posting everyday on here, isn’t that amazing? I would love to achieve something like that.

So here we go…. Day one of posting for a decade starts now.

Thanks for reading and see you tomorrow.
